We chose this spot as it seemed to be rather popular. This was the first time I was offered to smell the fresh coffee grounds before they did the pour-over. Had a pleasant chat with the barista too! Fantastic service and coffee.

One of the best coffee shops in San Jose! The coffee, food, and vibes are all a solid 10! I’m not really a coffee drinker but I always get their orange cardamom latte which is so smooth and absolutely delicious. The gochujang focaccia is also great! Highly recommend!!

The coffee shop is next level! The staff are super knowledgeable about the offerings and walked through the roasting process and unique beans they aquire and blends they make. I could not resist the final package of finca lord voldomort! They seem to know their crowd well. We arrived early, around 7:30am, and had a short wait, but by the time we left the like was well out the door! This is a busy spot! The food, particularly the sesame banana toast was incredible! Perfectly prepared and caramelized, an excellent combination of flavors. Coffee is pricey!

Parking and seating can be tough at peak times, but they offer an interesting range of coffees and teas. The coffee beans rotate so it won't always be the same, my personal favorite is Finca Lord Voldemort which really did taste like a melona bar. The tea isn't overextracted and doesn't feel like an afterthought. I loved my nantou dark oolong and could really pick out all the different notes as I smelled and tasted. The color was lovely too. The living coffee plants in the middle are a nice touch.

It's such a fun place to be! Food was excellent and creative. We love the black sesame and caramelized banana pastry. The coffee selection is large and tasty as well. Although it's busy, but the service is moving fast. We like the setting of the shop. People are friendly and chilled there.

Already one of my two favorite slow bar experiences in the Bay Area! Staff was amazing and their whole shop is a tribute to speciality coffee. They have a wall of drippers and even roast their own beans. I tried their Sidra and Batian coffees. I would say they're light roast and fruity/balanced coffees. They also let people try their whole selection before choosing one to drink which I thought was genius. Matt, Mabel, Sam and Joel were rockstars. Will come back soon

I am not too much of a fan of their drinks, but the vibe and service made up for it. The young tech company feel. Sharp and friendly workers. For the iced latte, shouldn't the milk go in after the espresso? Since it was the other way, the espresso was mainly on top and needed to be stirred. Seeing the workers, I know this part is thought out so just asking. Blackberry latte had a hint of blackberry which was nice. Not overwhelming. Will definitely be back to try other items.

As a latte drinker, I found Moonwake Coffee Roasters’ execution to be excellent. The lattes are exceptionally smooth. They offer unique infusions like blackberry, coconut, and orange, which are balanced well—the flavors are present but never overpower the quality of the coffee itself. I tried the mushroom tart, it was perfectly crispy and came with a generous amount of mushrooms. The taste was on the milder side and not that flavorful. The cafe is popular, it can be challenging to find a seat, even on a weekday.

Here’s a natural, detailed 5-star Google Maps review you can copy: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Moonwake Coffee Roasters was one of the best coffee experiences I’ve had in the South Bay. The cold brew was exceptional—smooth, refreshing, and incredibly well-balanced without any bitterness. You can really taste the quality of the beans and the care that goes into every cup. The pastries were just as impressive. We tried a couple of croissants, and they were perfectly flaky, buttery, and fresh. They paired beautifully with the coffee. The café itself has a clean, modern, and welcoming atmosphere, making it a great place to relax, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy a quiet coffee break. The staff were friendly and passionate about coffee, which made the experience even better. If you’re anywhere near Saratoga or San Jose, this place is absolutely worth a visit. I’ll definitely be coming back! This version sounds authentic, avoids overly promotional language, and is ideal for a Google Maps 5-star review.
